First off, no movie stood a chance of me staying awake today because I was pretty damn tired. Secondly, this was not the best movie for me to stay awake through anyway. I had no idea what the plot was about. I know I liked Amy Adams and that Meryl Streep should have won the Oscar. However, five minutes into the movie, I could tell this was going to be a snoozefest, and sure enough, it was. About 25 minutes in, I was in and out of consciousness not knowing what the hell was going on. At one point, Amy's character got a letter on a park bench, and the next minute, the movie was over. I don't think I would have enjoyed the movie if I stayed awake anyway. Let me know otherwise.

Seemed like a strange, twisted movie. I was curious if Philip Seymour Hoffman was actually committing these acts of sin or if the Meryl Streep was making all of it up in her head. I guess we'll never know.
Do you ever revisit a movie you fell asleep while watching because you really wanted to finish it?
Yes, I will usually wake up after 15 minutes and if the movie was interesting, I'd rewind and watch it again. But there have been a couple where I didn't even bother, this being one of them.
Not sure how you found my blog, but thanks for reading and commenting.
