The International

Point I Fell Asleep: 0:35 out of 1:58 (30%)
Location: Home
Time I Started Movie: Primetime
IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0963178/

Mark this day. This is the first movie I fell asleep in, and instead of plowering through it for the sake of finishing it, Ijust turned it off, making better use of my time. I had such high hopes for the movie too. I usually love Clive Owen movies and Naomi Watts is a cutie. However, the plot started off so slowly that I immediately got confused in the first 5 minutes. My biggest gripe about the movie was that, right off the bat, they introduced 2 characters, Schulman and Salinger. Seriously?!? I'm supposed to remember who is Schulman and who is Salinger?!? In a "spy" movie where knowing each character is vital to the plot of the movie? They couldn't name the 2nd character "Wallowitz" or something?!? That way, I have a decent chance of remembering which character was which. This movie reminded me of "The Bank Job," which some people raved about, but I hated as well. Clive is now on my poo-poo list. So I fell asleep at the 35 minute mark; tried to watch some more, and gave up at the 1 hour mark. Maybe you'll enjoy it more than I did. Let me know if I should finish watching it...

Boy, I'm glad you hated this movie too. I also had high hopes for this POS movie. I'm generally a Clive Owen fan, but I'll have to reevaluate after seeing this movie. I ended up paying for full theater admission for a 2-hour nap.

I did not regret falling asleep and missing the movie. Those trailers are incredibly misleading..
