I never played the video games because they were too scary for me. However, I loved the first 2 action flicks. This one was a CGI movie. I thought I was going to like it, but then mid way through, I realized I had "been there, done that" before, and so I fell asleep, woke up later and just wanted to turn the movie off. Maybe if you liked that "Final Fantasy" CGI movie and the video game starring Leon, then you'll like this movie, but it wasn't for me.
